Add a clear, mobile-friendly entry point for your association, parent-teacher
organization, NGO or other community. Members follow the link to discuss concerns,
consult arguments, participate in decisions and see the next step in Deferendum.
This plugin does not conduct voting inside WordPress or copy private content.
Visitor-facing cards and destinations support English, Romanian, Spanish, French
and Portuguese. No API key or account credentials are needed.

Instalación
Install the ZIP with Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin on a test WordPress site.
Add the “Deferendum Community Link” block, paste a supported URL, choose the
language and preview. No API key, sign-in secret or site-to-site account linking.
Classic editor shortcode:

Supported: group entry, one existing concern, one existing decision, and a
shareable group invitation when its publication is explicitly enabled.
Decision anchors: #vote, #wordings, #results, #next-step, #debate.
Only the five supported languages and the production app origin are accepted.
Unknown/auth URLs render nothing rather than a misleading button.
Access: links do not make a private topic public or grant access to non-members.
An invitation is different: publishing a shareable invitation may let visitors
join. Never publish a personal invitation delivered to one email address.
The administrator can close or replace shareable links inside Deferendum.
External service: clicking opens https://app.deferendum.com. The plugin itself
does not contact that service, fetch group content, set tracking cookies or
store credentials. Normal WordPress page access/logging remains the site’s
responsibility. Custom headings are public page content: do not include private
names, questions, voting results or contributions in them.

Deactivating removes block rendering; saved block attributes remain in the post.
Do not save invitation links on pages indexed by search engines unless their
public distribution is intended. No SEO/indexing policy is overridden here.

Does this make my private group public?

No. Group and topic links still require the visitor’s own Deferendum account and
membership. Publishing an invitation is different and may let new members join. -
Does it embed voting or synchronize accounts?

No. Participation happens in Deferendum. No passwords, votes or sessions are stored
in WordPress. Group rules and permissions remain unchanged. -
Why is my block blank?

Check the URL. Only production group/topic links and explicitly enabled shareable
invitations are supported. Authentication, admin and tracking URLs are rejected. -
Is the application open-source?

This WordPress plugin is GPLv2-or-later. Its license does not include the separate
hosted application, backend, native apps, trademarks or private community data.
