For example, if a shipping zone called North Island was created before the plugin is activated:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>the existing North Island shipping zone will remain untouched<\/li>\n<li>three new shipping zones will be created: North Island (Rural), South Island (Rural), and South Island.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"why%20is%20the%20shipping%20cost%20not%20displaying%20in%20the%20cart%2Fcheckout%3F\"><h3>Why is the shipping cost not displaying in the cart\/checkout?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>At least one shipping method must be set for the shipping zone. Please see WooCommerce's <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.woocommerce.com\/document\/flat-rate-shipping\/\">Flat Rate Shipping<\/a> tutorial for an example of how to apply a shipping method.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"why%20have%20zone%20names%20been%20added%20without%20regions%3F\"><h3>Why have zone names been added without regions?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Your web server must have <code>allow_url_fopen<\/code> enabled to retrieve the region data. Please contact your webhost if you're unsure how to check this.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"is%20the%20order%20of%20the%20zones%20important%3F\"><h3>Is the order of the zones important?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Yes, the rural shipping zones must appear above the standard ones in the Zone name column.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"are%20shipping%20zones%20removed%20if%20the%20plugin%20is%20removed%3F\"><h3>Are shipping zones removed if the plugin is removed?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No, deactivating or deleting the plugin will not remove the shipping zones. Shipping zones can be manually removed via WooCommerce &gt; Shipping &gt; Shipping Zones.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"why%20did%20my%20zone%20regions%20for%20north%20island%20and%20south%20island%20shipping%20zones%20disappear%3F\"><h3>Why did my zone regions for North Island and South Island shipping zones disappear?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Region codes were updated in the <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/woocommerce\/woocommerce\/pull\/35011\">WooCommerce 7.1.0 release<\/a>. Shipping zones configured with this plugin prior to the WooCommerce 7.1.0 release are no longer recognised by WooCommerce.<\/p>\n\n<p>The easiest solution is to manually reassign the correct regions for the North Island and South Island zones.<\/p><\/dd>\n\n<\/dl>\n\n<!--section=changelog-->\n<h4>1.0.2<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Fix: Declare plugin compatibility for WooCommerce High Performance Order Storage (HPOS) data structure.
