The two major systems for adding data to posts in WordPress are custom taxonomies and custom fields. This plugin is useful to convert custom fields into custom taxonomies.

- Upload the inner ‘customfields-to-taxonomies’ directory to the ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory on your web server.

This plugin still works. It is quite a handy little tool. There is a minor bug that can fixed by following the instructions I have added to my support request made in respect of this plugin. The bug does not prevent the plugin from functioning.

Don’t know why wordpress.org removed the option to tell it is compatible but left the notice “This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress”. Which is bs on wordpress website devs part.
Plugin is awesome and works.
